I am a big music fan – huge! I love Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Lily Allen (although for some reason Mummy often accidentally crashes into the CD player when she’s on so I rarely get to listen to her for long. My favourite lyric is ‘It’s not fair, I never get ice-cream’ but I’m never sure how it goes after that).
Today I am going to share with you my favourite song. (Mummy, I know it’s your favourite song really, and that you pretend it’s mine just so you can sing it to me before I go to sleep. But I’m happy to play along, even though it makes you cry. I will never understand grown-ups!).
Unfortunately Marion Worth’s Shake Me I Rattle came before the age of music video, but take a listen anyway. Super-nostalgic and guaranteed to tug at the heart-strings! Perfect!
Today I am taking part in Do I really Wanna Blog’s Sunday Session. Have a look at other bloggers’ choices here:
Oh how sweet, I hadn’t heard that song before.
So excited to have you on board the Sunday Sessions!! 🙂
Always love to hear people’s choices for the Sunday Session. I have been introduced to so much new music this way. I’m sure I’ve heard this before. It does sound vaguely familiar. My mom liked the old music too with Jim Reeves, Patsy Cline, Nat King Cole and Al Martino being on the top of her list and mine because of hearing them all through my childhood.
Great to see you at Sunday Session and I hope to see you again next week!
