Cheats Strawberry Pavlova

Pavlova is always a favourite for a special summer dessert, but making a meringue is sometimes overkill when you just want a quick dessert for a family dinner. We take a shortcut by whipping up some double cream, dolloping it onto a ready-made meringue nest, and topping with strawberries. Simple!

  1. If you’re not already a fan of strawberries, you should be. Not only are they juicy, summery and delicious, they’re a bona fide superfood, too. I usually make many kinds of cake, juice,… and something like that with them, particularly chocolate covered strawberries. It doesn’t take my time, is so easy to make, and really appetizing to enjoy. Just need to turn the strawberries upside down and insert by the toothpicks into a piece of styrofoam for easy cooling, or simply place them on a sheet of wax paper. White chocolate may be drizzled over the milk chocolate for a fancier look. It’s perfect for a weekend party!
