It’s been a funny old week, during which Mummy neglected to take a picture every day, so possibly this weekly project post is turning into a 52 rather than a 366! Mummy got very excitable about booking herself into a seminar for Social Media Week London. She arrived early (check out the dates on the event brief and the travelcard) and was rather less excited.
We visited all of our Grandparent’s, where the Bug demonstrated his newly acquired reading skills to Grandpa, and we fawned over Grandma’s lovely doggies!
I played snow tricks on the Bug (he never fails to fall for it), and we finally baked the Herman cake which has been breathing and growing in our kitchen for the best part of 2 weeks, smelling like a brewery. More on that later in the week!
I am linking this up today with The Boy and Me:
I will also be linking with Mammatograpy and Love All Blogs later in the week. Find their badges on the 366 main page and in my sidebar.
haha Mummy was very early wasn’t she? oh dear that has made me laugh!!! i can understand why mummy was not very pleased!
awww those dogs look very cute ,……. yet they also look a little bit like they could be umm well stuffed toy dogs!!!
what on earth is a Herman cake? can i google it (will google it – heck you can google everything!).

I am in awe of mummy’s organisational skills. I have never been early for anything in my life, 7 whole days is showing quite a commitment.
This is the huge design flaw of having children, no one tells you you give birth to at least 40% of your brain as well.
Opps! Hope Mummy made the most of her day trip and did something exciting ๐
Sounds like a fun week while mummy was away. We made a Herman cake too, delicious eaten warm!
Oh a week early what a nightmare! I have done similar things! Turned up for my twenty week scan a week late in my last pregnancy! Whoops! Lovely photos it sounds as though you have had a fun week! It is really hard to remember to take a photo every day and o struggled last week as it was so grey!
Herman cake? Does this involve yeast and apples? If you’ve got a recipe I’d love it please?
Thanks for linking up
Indeed it does! I’ll be sharing the recipe later in the week!
Sounds like a busy week! Well done on the reading skills too ๐
A weekend at grandparents, reminds me so much of my past, hope you had some great time.
Stopping by from Mamatography. I love your arrangement of photos this week. We were given a Herman cake to make recently too – ours ‘brewed’ for a little more than 2 weeks and we had enough for 2 cakes – one of them is in our freezer for a rainy day ๐
Oh, your snow is beautiful, and the reading photo with grandpa is precious as well. Bummer about the travel dates! Hopefully you still get to go to the seminar?
Oh NO!! What a disaster re the dates! Hope you got to do something nice with your day anyway!!
I’m intrigued by the Herman cake – that’s my dad’s name… I’ll have to make it for him ๐
Oh man, what a bummer about the travel dates ๐
Those dogs are just too gorgeous!
Hahaha oh dear. Are you there today?
Yes! I made it back and it was great – sadly had to go to Hamley’s after ๐
Gotta hate it when we show up a week early! Here’s hoping you will still be able to attend next week. Thanks for sharing with us and WAY TO GO BUG! I bet Grandpa loved the story!
