Lol, it peed down with rain all day, so we stayed in and baked, and strung the kids school bunting between the bedroom windows – to be rained on! I had a devil of a job getting it looped between rooms without climbing a ladder!
Nah, the biggest effort I went to was to attach a key to the end of the bunting then chuck it out of one window over the top of another – took me about an hour! ๐
To be honest it was all a bit impromptu as Actually Daddy was away, and the weather was rubbish, so I didn’t make any plans, but in the end we had great fun!
Okay, this is just a freakin’ fabulous composite. Love it! The colours are great and love your attention to details that really tell the story of the Jubille… your Jubille, so to speak. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Luschka, I’m so sorry I’m only getting round to this post every couple of weeks – I have the images all backed up on my phone, but it’s finding time to post!
Wow get you with your patriotism! Love the cake, that’s really clever, but a brilliant collection of photos!

I was rather pleased and GG ate masses of it! #nightmares tonight!

We did indeed. Lots of baking, eating and Moshi Monsters, with an hour of enforced flotilla watching on the tV!
Damn, I wish I’d found those earrings!
And that cake looks goooood!

Claire’s accessories lovely – magnetic so at least we don’t have to worry about the desire to pierce!
