Slow Cooker Sausage and Lentil Casserole
A hearty and healthy casserole, that takes minutes to assemble and will cook happily all day ready for dinner when you get home.
- 8 pork sausages
- 4 carrots peeled and chopped
- 1 250 g pack ready to eat Puy lentils
- 2 OXO Herbs and More rosemary and thyme flavour pots
Fry the sausages in a little oil until browned.
Add to a slow cooker or casserole dish, with the carrots and lentils.
Whisk the contents of the flavour pots into 400ml boiling water, and pour into the casserole.
Cook in a slow cooker for 5-8 hours on medium heat, or in the oven for 2 hours, covered, at 130 deg C.
Serve with mash.
